What happens when an angel comes to earth?
Does Heaven dim to lose one of its own?
Is God made less because He shares His worth,
Because He helps those who are alone?
Consider…
There are angels who walk among us,
Touching this life and that heart,
By their very presence they bless,
And their work is God’s art.
Our lives are brighter when an angel is there,
Even though we may not know why,
They bring love and healing with their care,
And they inspire us to try.
For the lost, and the abandoned, the angels work,
No matter how dark, they light the way.
They cleanse the path where evil may lurk,
And they teach us to pray.
So what happens when an angel comes to earth?
We are changed forever, a step closer to Heaven,
Where the love exchanged glows even brighter,
Lighting our hearts from above and within.
When an angel’s work is done,
Then God beckons, “Come.”
And the love between heaven and earth
Carries His angel home.
